Network Equipment Building Systems (NEBS)

3-meter Semi-Anechoic Chamber We provide complete product testing to the Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) requirements for products to ensure the product is safe and does not interfere with the reliable operation of the network. NEBS compliance is a critical issue to service providers evaluating the suitability of products for use in their networks.

Our test facilities and automated test instrumentation provide accurate and repeatable measurements. Experienced test engineers and a flexible scheduling policy translate to cost effective product approval. The GPCL participates in the Verizon Independent Test Lab (ITL) witnessing program.

Hydroscopic Dust Test Equipment deployed by service providers in Central Office (CO) space and data rooms must not create a risk or safety hazard to personnel, other nearby equipment, or the physical building structure. The service providers also require that network equipment in their network deliver dependable and reliable performance under normal and abnormal operating conditions encountered during the product’s life.

The NEBS generic requirements are used by service providers to qualify equipment that will provide a high level of reliability and safety to their network.
